A Muslim’s sword

Call to the means of your Lord showing wisdom and respectable exhortation, and have disputations with them within the best manner; for sure your Lord best is aware of those that go wide from His path, and He is aware of best those that follow the correct means.

(Surah Al Nahl 16:125) 

The Mission of Prophet Muhammad

Certainly Supreme Being presented a profit upon the believers once He raised among them a courier from among themselves, reciting to them His communications and purifying them, and teaching them the Book and also the knowledge, though before that they were sure enough in manifest error

(Surah Ale Imran 3:164)

Seeking knowledge

1. It was narrated that Abu Huraira said: “One of the supplications that the Prophet accustomed say was

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ

{0Allah, I obtain refuge with You from information that's of no profit, from a supplication that's not detected, from a heart that doesn't worry (You) and from a soul that's not glad}

(Sunan Ibn e Majah, Book of Sunnah, Hadith no 250, Classified as Sahih By Allama Albani)

2. It was narrated that Abu Hurrairah said: “The courier of Supreme Being wont to say:

اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي وَزِدْنِي عِلْمًا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ

{0 Allah, benefit me by that which you have taught me, and teach me that which will benefit me}

(Sunan Ibn e Majah, Book of Sunnah, Hadith no 251, Classified as Sahih By Allama Albani)

3.The Duaa of Angels:

 سُبْحَانَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ

{Glory be to Thee! we have no knowledge but that which Thou hast taught us; surely Thou art the Knowing, the Wise.}

(Surah Al Baqarah 2:32)

4.The Duaa of Prophet Musa:

 رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي

O my Lord! Expand my breast for me, And make my affair easy to me, And loose the knot from my tongue, (That) they may understand my word;

(Surah Taha 20:25-28)

 5.Duaa taught by Allah

 رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

O my Lord! Increase me in knowledge

(Surah Taha 20:114)
